【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversagroupofcommonrequirementswhich,unlessotherwisespecifiedinthepurchaseorderorinanindividualspecification,shallapplytocarbonandalloysteelbarsundereachofthefollowingASTMspecifications(orunderanyotherASTMspecificationwhichinvokesthisspecificationorportionsthereof):1.2Incaseofanyconflictinrequirements,therequirementsofthepurchaseorder,theindividualmaterialspecification,andthisgeneralspecificationshallprevailinthesequencenamed.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.4Forpurposesofdeterminingconformancetothisspecificationandthevariousmaterialspecificationsreferencedin,dimensionalvaluesshallberoundedtothenearestunitintheright-handplaceoffiguresusedinexpressingthelimitingvaluesinaccordancewiththeroundingmethodofPracticeE29.Note1SpecificationA29previouslylisteddimensionaltolerancesforcold-finishedbars;thesearenowfoundinSpecificationA108.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO8502describesamethodforthedeterminationofchloride-containingsaltsthatarereadilysolubleinwaterandarepresentonasteelsurface.Themethodisalsoapplicabletopreviouslycoatedsurfaces.Itwillnormallybeusedinalaboratoryusingwashingssampledfromsurfacesonsite.Themethodisapplicabletothedeterminationofsaltsthathavebeendepositedonthesteelsurfacebefore,duringorafterthecleaningoperations.NOTE1Althoughtheprocedureforchloridedeterminationisgenerallyaccurate,theoverallprecisionofthemethodislimitedbyuncertaintiesinthesamplingprocedure.Inaddition,tracesofironchlorideatthebottomofpitsaredifficulttoextractintothesample.Thetestmethodisnotapplicabletosurfacestreatedwithchromate,nitriteoramine,whicharecommonlyusedasinhibitorsinthewaterwhenwetblast-cleaning.Thisisbecauseachromateconcentrationof10mg/lorgreateroranitriteconcentrationof20mg/lorgreaterinthewashwaterinterfereswiththedeterminationofthechloride.Alsotheamineinhibitorscanformahydroxideboundarylayer(notwatersoluble)overthesubstrateandpreventthewaterfromcontactingtheunderlyingsaltforitsremoval.Aniron(lll)ionconcentrationof10mg/lalsointerfereswiththedetermination,buttheiron(lll)ionsareconcentratedintherustdeposits,whichareremovedfromthetestsolutionbyfiltration.NOTE2Theperformanceofapaintsystemisaffectedbytheamountofsolublechlorideremainingonthesurface.Theacceptablelevelofthiscontaminationisrelatedtotheserviceconditions.Forfurtherinformationregardinglevelsofwater-solublesaltcontaminationseeISO/TR15235.
